A villa of the '600 built by the Cardinal Flavio Chigi, nephew of Pope Alexander VII, stands on the edge of a volcanic crater that the imagination of Robert Trent Jones has turned into a challenging golf with interesting technical aspects; the ground, already naturally predisposed, welcomes 93 bunkers, 3 ponds, artificial obstacles and many other pitfalls among olive trees, oaks and pines.
From the balcony of the palace, you will be fascinated by a vision of the playing field which allows you to embrace the 18 holes in one impressive look, while behind him, four centuries of history permeates the walls of the solemn clubhouse.
